Dr David Jenner
Dr Jenner is a part time principal in General Practice in Cullompton, Devon.
He was a founder member of the Mid Devon Doctors group in 1993 and was its Chair through its evolution from Locality Commissioning Group through GP Commissioning Pilot in 1998 to Primary Care Group in 1999. He was Mid Devon PCG Chair from 1999-2001 and then Professional Executive Committee Chair of the Mid Devon Primary Care Trust until September 2003.
David is the NHS Alliance GMS2 and Practice Based Commissioning Lead and support to the NHS Alliance practice manager network. He writes and talks extensively on subjects pertaining to new GMS/PMS and PBC.
David also works with the Client Focused Evaluation Programme a small independent company that has produced the IPQ practice patient survey which is one of the approved patient surveys for the new GMS contract.
In any spare time he gets regularly injured playing increasingly more senile hockey.
He also hunts native orchids and moths, and nurtures an extensive collection of carnivorous plants.
He is married with four children.
