Dr Minoo Irani is a Consultant Paediatrician in Berkshire East and is regional coordinator (Oxford Region) for Community Paediatrician members of the British Association for Community Child Health.

He is a member of the Paediatricians in Medical Management committee at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has been a member of the RCP/RCGP Interface group hosted by the Royal College of Physicians.
He is a clinician member on the Berkshire Research Ethics Committee and has been a member of the National Working Group for Workforce Planning, Education and Training work stream (Our NHS, Our Future NHS next stage review)


Dr Irani is the national lead for the NHS Alliance Specialists Network and is author of several health policy reports on Integration of healthcare services in the NHS.

His professional interests include Paediatric Public Health, Health Policy and Health Service Management, and peer support for doctors.

He is passionate about primary, community and secondary care clinicians working together in collaborative models of service delivery and has written and published several articles in the medical press on this topic.
