Michael is a Business Manager based in Nottingham working with brother & sister-in-law (GP Partners) for the last 5 years. Originally from London with a background in Retail and Events Management spanning over 20 years, the last 5 years at board level. Main areas of focus being strategic planning, service redesign, new business/procurement, patient and public involvement and PBC. Currently managing new premises re-location which will also incorporate an operating theatre & NHS Dentistry. Exec board member, Nottingham & North East consortium, Michael is currently leading on TCS and the development of the consortia into a statutory organisation. Through the Alliance Michael has also been fortunate in working with the DH on a various work streams the most recent being the GP Access program and hopes to maintain this important link and ensure Practice Managers are represented at the highest levels and where possible via the media; Editorial board member, Practical Commissioning Magazine. A strong supporter for cross-networking with allied professionals and the long term development of such relationships. Also sits on Nottingham bench as Magistrate focusing on the youth courts and adult courts.
