NHS Alliance invites entries for 2011 Acorn Awards

It is that time of the year again and the NHS Alliance is inviting entries for the Acorn Awards.
This year there are seven categories:
- GP Consortia of the Year
- Best PCT Management of Transition
- Best QIPP Entry
- Best Clinical Leader of the Year
- Best Example of Public & Patient Involvement
- Innovations in Urgent Care
- Best Manager of a Consortia
Michael Sobanja, chief executive of the NHS Alliance, said: “With an ever changing landscape as well as external and internal pressures, we don’t always remember to acknowledge those who are working hard to make a difference and move the NHS forward. The Acorn Awards are a celebration of these achievements and we look forward to receiving this year’s entries.”
