Connecting to Transform

We draw on our members and extensive connections to bring together movements and enable collaborations that energise and empower professionals and local residents to take action to address health inequalities through Health Creation.

A catalyst and fascilitator

New NHS Alliance connects people that don’t normally get to meet each other to make things happen that otherwise might not

We are a catalyst and facilitator and we provide infrastructure for a national movement for Health Creation, which is all about transforming through connection.

Examples:

  • Membership – people meeting from across UK, across sectors, walks of life, influencing and learning together
  • Partners and Allies – we work with a wide range of cross-sector partners, often bringing them together to drive real change. Check out who we partner with [here
  • Primary Care Network Programme – bringing together national and local organisations and communities to advance PCN understanding of how to address health inequalities
  • North Yorkshire Health Creation Network – a regional cross-sector network that is developing their own made in Ryedale approach to creating health within their communities [learn more]

Supporting connections

Sustainable transformation, both in people’s lives and in systems and services, are central to change and it can only happen through meaningful connection.

We support connection through a wide rage of activities including:

  • Advancing our 3 Cs of Health Creation … ‘Connecting’ with people in meaningful and constructive ways usually comes first and leads to increased confidence and control
  • Bi-weekly Health Creation Forum. Find out more [here]
  • Supporting Communities of Learning. Find out more [here]
